Glyn_Evans
Late last year Glyn Evans joined Vutek Belgium as the European Director Service & Support. Glyn left Scitex Europe in 1995, after 15 years with the company and joined Indigo. Most recent position at Indigo (HP-Indigo division) was Director Customer Support for Europe.
Vutek Europe, a branch of the American company Vuetk is located in Zaventum, Belgium. The company is a supplier of super-wide format digital inkjet printers to the graphic arts market. Vutek’s current product portfolio includes the UltraVu? product range, for high quality, high speed printing in 2-, 3-, and 5-meter formats, and its PressVu? family of digital inkjet flatbed printers, capable of printing on both rigid and flexible substrates using UV-curable or solvent-based inks.

Paul_Rosenbaum
The former president of Scitex America (in the early 80?s) Paul Rosenbaum is Managing Partner of Wayland Partners Ltd., a Boston suberb based consulting firm helping technology companies raise early stage capital.
In an article —Ready Or Not? –published in “Entrepreneur magazine” [August 1999] Paul is interviewed about raising capital saying “Before you start shaking the trees for investors, make sure you’re prepared to catch them“.

Paul has also been President and CEO of Proteon Inc., and Xyplex Inc. Previously, he was Vice President, International Operations for Motorola’s subsidiary, Codex Corporation. Later in his career, he was a General Partner for the venture capital firm American Research & Development. He has made over a dozen investments in technology companies including Active Control eXperts, Tau Tron, CERJAC and many other private companies.
Frommer with Textile pattern scanner (1971)
Jacob Frommer has sent us a real old picture, from the days when the startup was still Scientific Technology Ltd., [later became to be known as Scitex].
The picture was taken around 1971, when the company was in Rehovot Israel.
The young Frommer is kneeling next to the first fabric knitting machine-controller, which he had helped to develop. The picture was taken by Efi Arazi on a Friday afternoon on Weitzman Institute lawn, just before the Controller was shipped to the first customer

Dov_Berliner
After selling his first company to Creo, the ExScite Dov Berliner founded his second startup- Carmel Vision.
Prior to his start-up career, Dov spent 18 years with Scitex, both in Israel and in North America.
Carmel Vision specializes in office content management, communication and video conferencing software solutions Carmel Vision was incorporated in January of 2002.
The company is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Carmel Vision’s knowledge in software development, networking and system integration dates back to 1990 when Dov founded his first company, Carmel Graphics, a java-based software development company offering products to the graphic arts market. Carmel Graphics was sold to Creo in May of 2000 and was later integrated into PrintCafe.

Philip Lavee has been appointed VP sales and marketing at MediaWorks.
Prior to joining MediaWorks, Philip held the position of VP sales and business development at Pictos Technologies, Inc., a supplier of semiconductor and system solutions for digital imaging applications. In his position at Pictos, Philip was responsible for leading the company?s expansion and penetration into the Far East digital photography market. Before Pictos he held executive management positions in digital imaging companies including Lumero, Inc., Zing Networks and Pix.com.
Philip spent 13 years at Scitex and Leaf in various position in Israel and in the USA. Located in Irvine CA, MediaWorks Integrated Systems, Inc. is a fabless semiconductor company that is developing highly integrated, Systems-on-a-Chip (SoC) solutions for consumer video capture and display appliances. These devices include digital camcorders, digital still cameras, consumer security cameras, PDA cameras, and portable personal video recorders (P/PVR).
Tzipi_Netz
Tzipi Netz, is the V.P. Product Management at Press-Sense. Tzipi worked at Scitex and its daughter companies for nine years, carrying out product management and customer relation duties. Among the various products, Tzipi designed and managed the development of the Scitex Brisque Impose and was a part of the 74-Karat project. Press-sense of Natanya, Israel is a developer of information management software solutions for the printing industry.
