On one beautiful morning in America, Alex Gall, Roni Even and Ilan Fono from Scitex Israel R&D, have been observed around the IBM PC division. They came to explore the (then) brand new PS/2 computer. The rest is history.
Only Roni has gone through the trouble of buttoning his jacket for the photo session.

Dan Eylon dan_e@netvision.net.il is VP R&D at Appstreamin in Tel Aviv. Dan was with Nova Measuring Instruments (NASDAQ:NVMI) and also spent 6 years at Scitex R&D. He is the author of 6 software patents.
Located in Tel Aviv and in Palo Alto CA, AppStream Inc. www.appstream.com is a provider of scalable technology for the deployment and management of applications to the extended enterprise. The technology reduces network congestion and server load and provide ubiquitous access to applications across all networks without impacting other applications or IT infrastructure.
In 1988 all the world-wide top-dogs of Scitex management assembled in Herzlia for a strategic planning session under the theme “HAPPINNES IS POSITIVE CASHFLOW”.
It is not so surprizing to note that except for one (!) person (guess who?), all of the people present are no longer with the company.

The big deal in the middle here is the CIPC workstation the pre-cursor of the Pixet, which was later upgraded to the Imager.

PISCES -Print Imaging Sciences Inc. www.jetplate.com is a Nashua, New Hampshire based company whose primary mission is the development of innovative ink jet systems for the printing and publishing industry. Founded in 1998 by a group of industry veterans,. The company has developed the first in a series of products, the JetPlate: a computer ?to- conventional platesetter based on Epson’s Stylus Color 3000. The printer has been modified to precisely handle metal printing plates and uses a proprietary fluid that ‘exposes’ the UV sensitive emulsion on a conventional plate.
