Orbotech is one of the most populated ExScite strongholds, resulting from similarities of cultures between the old Scitex,
Orbot and Optrotech. Over the years we have reported on the lateral movement of people in key positions between the two companies.
Therefore, it is no surprise that when the Yavne, Israel based Orbotech www.orbotech.com decides to establish a new ventures arm- Orbotech Ventures, they naturally put an ExScite members at the top. Albert Yafe  has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. Albert had held key positions at Scitex R&D is a long-time Orbotech veterans; Asher having most recently held the position of Managing Director Orbotech’s Hong Kong subsidiary, and Albert having previously served as Orbotech’s VP R&D. In addition, Kobi Olin joined the new venture. Kobi had also worked at Scitex R&D before moving to Orbotech.
Orbotech Technology Ventures, a new corporate venture fund has just been established to develop and expand opportunities for growth and further strengthen Orbotech’s overall position within the electronics industry. Orbotech designs, develops, manufactures, markets and services production support solutions for the supply chain of the electronics industry, principally for printed circuit boards (PCBs), and flat panel displays (FPDs).

content-creation tools that can be licensed out to various partners. Consumers then have the opportunity to create their own music videos by using pre-established JPEGs, video, and audio.
Prior to Oddcast he held senior executive positions at several startup ventures in Israel, including VP of Engineering at RTimage Ltd [16% owned by Scitex]. And, earlier he co-founded and was VP of R&D at [the now defunct] Pitango Multimedia, a spin-off of Scitex. At Scitex Israel he was briefly associated with the PGX project (for those who can recall), before founding the Multimedia Systems Division (a 3 year stint).
Prior to that Gil worked for 3 years at the STA R&D department where he worked on such projects as Visionary, MaskCutter and Colors.

(L&H) Speech Products, Burlington, MA where she was the
Corporate VP Business Development. Before L&H Tsipora was
Market Research Manager at Scitex America for two and half years.
Keyware is a premier provider of intelligent biometrics and
centralized authentication solutions for real-world business
applications. Biometrics is the technology of verifying a
person’s identity by means of personal characteristics such as
voice, face and fingerprints.

joined Indigo Benelux in 1998. He has recently been promoted to
marketing director, Europe. The Israeli company Indigo

digital presses. Erwin had started his graphic arts career in
1988 at Agfa as a product specialist in the marketing department
of the Business Imaging Systems group. In 1990 he joined Scitex
Europe, where he held several positions in product marketing,
field marketing and marketing communications. In 1997 he took up
the position as European Marketing manager with Tecnomatix, an
Israeli company, specializing in high-end CAD/CAM solutions for
the automotive and aerospace industry.

Pedro Giménez pgimenez@atgdigital.com , a 3 years veteran of Scitex in Spain, is the director of ATG Digital of Barcelona, Spain http://www.atgdigital.com. ATG is a distributor of large format digital printing equipment, selling products and supplies of companies such as Xerox, Nur, HP and Shira.
