Nostalgia

You?d better believe it- this is the first ever training course of the Scitex application engineers (AE). The picture was taken around 1976 in Herzlia.
Several engineers and programmers provided training for the Textile Imaging- Response system.
In the picture from the left: Dani Herzka (AE), Efi Arazi and Roni Ross [on the motorcycle], Reuven Treep (AE), Ruth Gahtan [now Even] (AE), Rafi Bronstien, Yacov Stein [who is no longer with us], Dani Zetland and in the front Miri Bik [now Weiss] (AE). The picture was sent to us by Dani Zetland.

You maybe too young to remember- but the first American office of Scitex was in Stamford CT of all places…The operation was called STNA- Scitex North America.

In the larger-view picture you can see the first two service engineers: Charlie Baum and Adrian Zilkouski.

These pictures from the ’73-74 timeframe have been shot in the STNA office by Itzik Sanua who dropped-by for a visit .

A Team- for critical installation at Bauer in Germany, 1981

In November 1981, the E-Ray “A Team” was sent to Germany to install the first Beta at the JOHANNES BAUER company in Hamburg, Germany.

Standings- Bauer operator, Avigdor Biber, Effraim Karlibach, Jacob Lichter, Boaz Frenkel.
Sittings- Mr. Hechler from Bauer, Rafi Bronstein, Avi Bachar. Although the mission was the E-Ray, the device in background of the picture [when enlarged] is the Super-Scanner. The photo was sent to us by Aharon Korem.
