Yuval_Rahamim

The ExScite Yuval Rahamim is the founder and general manager of FORMA Group, a company specializing in the development and ongoing implementation of effective marketing communications schemes for Israeli hi-tech companies.
Joining Scitex (Herzlia) in 1997 as a webmaster in the “great Marcom department”, Yuval broadened the boundaries of the corporate web site to reflect the dynamic presence of the company and its units in the pre-press arena. “It was then, in the Scitex Marcom Department, with its global reaches, when I realized the essential role of an effective marketing communications team to the sales performance of an Israeli technology-oriented company” says Yuval.
After leaving Scitex, Yuval served in several start up companies as Internet team leader, Marcom manager, and finally as Marcom Director at VocalTec. Adds yuval “Leaving VocalTec in 2001, I realized the marketing world as we knew it has changed and marketing communications will have to revolutionize in order to pursue its role in the structure of Israeli companies and their sales cycle. There was no more room for a large team of skilled professionals performing all the various tasks inside the organizations. Only a handful of companies need and can practically and financially support this structure.”
With this concept in mind, Yuval formed FORMA Group (www.formagroup.biz ), a team of hi-tech company marketing communications professional veterans that can easily and quickly fit a solution to the needs of any budding or blooming technology company. Located in Netanya, FORMA Group now serves on a regular or project basis, some of the leading Israeli startup companies, bringing them the excitement and enthusiasm of the glorious days of the Scitex spirit. Forma cover the entire range of Marcom activities and form a custom-tailored task force that meets your company’s exact requirements and immediate objectives, including: budgeting, production and delivery of marketing and corporate communications– printed, electronic, press and events.

HP Completes the Acquisition of Scitex Vision

The Scitex Vision businesses acquired are principally located in the United States, Belgium, China, Israel, Mexico and South Africa, and are being integrated into HP’s Imaging and Printing Group and reporting to the HP inkjet group in Barcelona, Spain.
This strengthens HP’s position as a one-stop partner for providers of print services with a product portfolio of large-format printers, digital presses and now industrial wide-format printers, providing a significant competitive advantage.

“This purchase accelerates HP’s push into one of the most significant and fastest growing market opportunities: to digitize analog prints and gain market leadership in the graphics industry,” said Enrique Lores, vice president and general manager, Large Format Printing, Imaging and Printing Group, HP. “Customers soon will start to see the benefits of access to a much wider range of products and services while continuing to enjoy the same high levels of service.”
